# New Android App [beta]

We've launched a new Android app with more features and a better experience!

## What is the new Android App?

The **new 🤖 Android App** is a completely new Ava app for Android. Not only is it better and faster than the old app, but we’ve also redesigned it for a better experience. Ava 2.0 incorporates state-of-the-art technology to offer you a faster, stronger, and more feature-rich live captioning experience that is better than Google’s Live Transcribe.

## How to Access the App

You can access the new **🤖 Android App** in the Google Play Store - just click the link below!

Once you download the application, please sign in using your existing credentials.

While not all features from the previous version will be immediately available, it will offer exciting new features like fast captioning, Ava Show, and more options for text-to-speech. Here's a comparison of key features:

## How to Access the 🏚️ Old Android App

If you currently have the **🏚️ Old Android App** downloaded on your device, you can continue to access and use the app. If you delete **🏚️ Old Android App** from your device, there isn't a way to recover it — you will need to start using the **new 🤖 Android App.**

## Timeline for Transition

We will be sunsetting the **🏚️ Old Android App** on December 31, 2024. This means that you will need to migrate to the **new 🤖 Android App** in 2025 to continue using Ava on your Android device.
