# How do I boost the transcript accuracy in Ava

At work or in class, we generally use specific vocabulary terms (proper nouns, acronyms, etc.). It's important that these words are captioned correctly.

With **Vocabulary Boost**, Ava can quickly identify these words in a live conversation and correctly caption them, boosting the accuracy of your conversation.

## Using the Boost dictionary on Ava Web or Ava Desktop

1. Open Ava Web and click on **⚙️ Account Settings**

2. If you are on Ava Desktop, open the expanded view to see **⚙️ Account Settings**

3. Click the **General** tab and click the '**Vocabulary boost**' settings

4. Type the word or phrase you want to be boosted and press ↪️ **Enter** or **Add**.

5. You can also manage all of your words and phrases by deleting or editing them.

## Using Boost Vocabulary on your mobile device

- Open the Ava application on your phone
- Go to the **Profile** tab
- Go to ⚙️ **Settings**
- Press **Vocabulary Boost**

You can boost the Ava dictionary and manage your list by **adding or deleting** keywords:

Then, each time the added words appear in a conversation, Ava will autocorrect and display them **in bold:**
