How to translate a conversation with Ava

With the translation function, you can translate your live conversations into over 20 languages. Language barriers are no longer a problem.

How to Translate a Conversation on Ava Mobile

  1. Start a new conversation (tap on 🎙 Start Captions)
  2. Tap the settings ⚙️ icon in the top right-hand corner
  3. Tap on "Spoken Language" to change the language that the speaker is using
  4. Tap on "Translate into" to choose the language you would like to see the captions in

Now you can have someone speak into Ava in a foreign language and see captions in the language of your choosing!

How to Translate a Conversation on 💻 Ava Web

  1. Start a new conversation in Ava Web
  2. Click the ⚙️ Settings Icon in the lower menu
  3. Choose the 🌐Spoken Language and the 🈲 Translation Language
    1. The 🌐Spoken Language is the original language that is being spoken
    2. The 🈲 Translation Language is what language you want your captions to be in

How to Translate a Conversation on 💻 Ava Desktop

  1. Start a new conversation in Ava Desktop
  2. Click the three dots in the lower menu and click ⚙️ More Settings
  3. Choose the 🌐Spoken Language and the 🈲 Translation Language
    1. The 🌐Spoken Language is the original language that is being spoken
    2. The 🈲 Translation Language is what language you want your captions to be in
