How to Schedule a Scribe 👩‍💻

1. How to Book a Scribe

a. Via the mobile app 📱

  1. Click on the "Profile" tab and then go to "My Scribe sessions"
  2. Click on "Book a session" or on the icon on the top right.
  3. Choose the date, the time slot and the desired duration, then fill in the form.
  4. Once the booking is confirmed, it will appear in the "Upcoming sessions" tab.

💡 Want a duration other than 1 hour? Tap the Back arrow below "New Booking".

b. Via the desktop app 💻

  1. Open a new conversation and click on "Scribe"
  2. Click on "Book a Scribe session". You will be redirected to the Scribe Booking Calendar.
  3. Choose the duration of your session (3h, 2h, 1h, etc...)
  4. Fill in the booking form. Once the booking is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email or text message.

2. How to modify or cancel a Scribe session

  1. Click on the "Profile" tab and then go to "My Scribe sessions"
  2. Press and hold the booking you want to edit or cancel.
  3. Select either "Edit" or "Cancel" and confirm.
  4. Once the booking is cancelled, it will appear in the "Upcoming sessions" tab.

3. How to set a reminder

If you’d like, you can receive a reminder before your Scribe session starts so you don’t forget it.

  1. Go to the "My Scribe sessions" tab and press and hold the session in question.
  2. Then choose when you'd like to be notified and confirm.

4. Usage of Scribe credit

Your Scribe credit is deducted by the minute. With Ava, there's no out-of-plan usage of Ava Scribe — no bad surprises!

Ava Scribe guarantees you a Scribe service when you book more than 6 hours in advance, and during our service hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 10pm EST / 5am to 7pm PST

A meeting postponed to the afternoon? You can book up to 1 hour in advance. One minute of use will be deducted as 1.5 minutes of credit.

You can call a Scribe without a reservation, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm PST / 12pm to 8pm EST (Booking is still recommended during peak hours).

1 minute of Ava Scribe use = 2 minutes of credit deducted

It is also possible to reserve or call a Scribe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Your Ava Scribe credit is deducted by the minute, up to your remaining credit limit (no overage charges).

The rates for using Scribe Credit may vary depending on the time of day and the time of booking or Scribe request.
