# How to Sign "Show" in Sign Language

In American Sign Language (ASL), "show" is an invitation to share, entertain, and engage.

## Signing "Show"

1. **Hand Shape**: Your non-dominant hand should be in an “open 5” handshape. Your dominant hand should be in a fist with your index finger extended.
2. **Sign Location**: Position your hands in front of your chest, slightly apart. Place your non-dominant hand facing your dominant hand. Place your dominant finger onto the palm of your non-dominant hand.
3. **Movement**: Move both hands forward and away from your body simultaneously, as if you're revealing something.
4. **Facial Expression**: Wear a welcoming and expressive facial expression, as if you're inviting someone to witness or participate in a performance or presentation.

## Note

This sign is only for showing or exhibiting something. If you are talking about a theatrical show, that's a totally different sign!
