# How to Sign “Burger” in Sign Language

The ASL sign for "burger" is a classic, just like your favorite backyard barbecue. Stack your hands one on top of the other, mimicking a burger patty nestled between two buns. This sign comes in handy whether you're at a drive-thru, grilling with friends, or craving a bite from your favorite burger joint.

## Signing “Burger”

1. Hand shape: Start with your hands in a “closed-5” handshape.
2. Hand location: Bring your hands in front of your body at about chest level.
3. Movement: Place each hand together at the palm, dominant hand on top, then switch so that the non-dominant hand is on top.
4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
